Stand Your Ground is on the governor’s desk



Last night, the Minnesota House officially forwarded the Stand Your Ground bill to Governor Dayton.



It’s time to tell him to sign it. Please take a few seconds or minutes for your rights.





 



What you can do today:




  1. TAKE 15 SECONDS:

    Call the governor’s office
    , and ask him to sign HF1467, the Stand Your Ground bill, TODAY!

  2. TAKE 45 SECONDS:

    Send an email
    : Go to the governor’s web site at http://mn.gov/governor/contact-us/form/, and send the same message.

     


  3. TAKE 90 SECONDS:

    Send a fax

  4. TAKE FIVE MINUTES:

    Write a real letter, on paper. These are incredibly effective in convincing a politician of how seriously we take an issue.
