Don't veto suppressors

Governor Dayton has announced that he will veto any bill with suppressor legalization. Please help him understand that highly-regulated suppressors don't pose any threat to public safety, but can greatly contribute to individual health.

Message: must be fewer than 10,000 characters	Governor Dayton, I am writing to you regarding the firearm suppressor law that you announced you will veto. It appears that someone is giving you false analysis. Firearm suppressors don't turn a gunshot into a whisper. All they can do is to reduce the total loudness of a gunshot. A gunshot with a suppressor is still very noisy. They are permitted in all but 11 states. Those states' experiences demonstrate that these tightly regulated objects are practically never used in criminal activity. As a responsible public servant, you need to take the time to investigate the legislation. I think you'll find that these tightly regulated objects are not a threat to public safety and should not be banned. I am counting on you to make the right choice.
